ASUS hasn’t shared much detail about the 7-inch and 10.1-inch models. As for the 8-inch model, there are two variants as well – ZenPad 8.0 (Z380) and ZenPad S 8.0 (Z580CA).

The ZenPad 8.0 (Z380) is the world’s first tablet to feature an innovative interchangeable cover design. Yes! You can swap the cover just like the ZenFone series smartphones to customize the tablet with functional back covers.

The ZenPad S 8.0 (Z580CA) is what ASUS focusing the most. It sports a 2K QXGA (1,536×2,048) IPS 4:3 aspect ratio display with a wide 178-degree viewing angle and an incredible 324 ppi pixel density. The slate is powered by a 64-bit Intel Atom Z3580 processor with 4 GB of RAM, similar to the ZenFone 2 (ZE551ML).

Additionally, the ZenPad S 8.0 can be used with the optional Z Stylus. It supports up to 1024 levels of pressure sensitivity and up to a 1.2 mm writing tip.
